Proof of workpermit?
Hi,
I wanted to find out if a Zimbabwean man has been in South Africa for the last few years
How does one find out if he has a work permit? I have his passport number and name etc Are you able to see in his passport if he does have a work permit?

A workpermit or a workendorsement is usually pasted inside a foreign passport. A permanent resident permit holder, however will receive a green ID book, or ID card and are also eligible for work.
Not so sure what the conditions would be though on refugee status.
