Temp Work Contract
I line with our company policy it is not policy to employ family members.
You were appointed on a three month contract to assist the call centre while we were short staffed, we have now made the necessary placements and no longer require your services. This is the reason you were only appointed on a temp basis.
Should i not be first in line to get a placement? Why did they employ me if they knew about the company policy for family members?

I’m no legal expert, but why would a company be restricted in implementing such a policy? You were hired on a temp basis, your contract was not extended and the position was eventually filled with some-one else. The reason for that, should be sole discretion to the company…
