Who are the suppliers of Cape Union Mart, Trappers and Outdoor Warehouse?
I am a small business owner and I must tell you that I battle to find suppliers that offer goods at a reasonable price. Who are the suppliers of Cape Union Mart, Trappers and Outdoor Warehouse? Are we using the same suppliers? If so how are these retailers able to offer their goods at almost no profit
I can’t answer the questions about “who are their suppliers”; but what makes you think that Cape Union Mart, Trappers and Outdoor Warehouse are selling at almost no profit? Do you know what purchasing agreements they have with their suppliers? Volume and Supply Chain are probably the single biggest price factors in retail. Big chain stores will always have a competitive advantage here. As a small business owner / retailer, you’ll need to excel on different business aspects to gain YOUR competitive advantage.. Product differentiation, niche market, service expertise, etc… Of course this can be easier said than done…
