Will suspended sentence affect police clearance certificate?
Say you were given a suspended sentence for something very minor (like stealing a sandwich while drunk). Would that be an issue if you were to apply for a police clearance certificate 6 years later?
Why would that be an issue? Every South African resident can apply for a police clearance certificate, irrespective of having been involved with the law in the past. Or would you like to know, if that suspended sentence could possibly appear on the statement?
